A Bard’s Promise
>> Friday, January 28, 2011
As of late, ok maybe longer than as of late, my own writing and creativity has suffered a bit with all that I have taken on: Poets United, the Anthology, my sporting activities, volunteer work, the planning of an extravagantly odd and over the top wedding ( I may just scrap that if I get too busy. Just don’t tell Amber) and of course my full time job. I cannot allow that to be the case. So this is a written promise to me and my readers that I will post at least once a week something of wordy value.
I am in no way complaining about everything in my life. It is all a blessing and I love each aspect but I figure if I write this down here on my two blogs it will help me to solidify a promise to myself!!
So for the faithful few who humor my odd and simple poems please feel free to poke me if this blog gets any sort of cobwebby.

... *cough*cough*blowing away the cobwebs* ;-) I had to laugh out loud because I have never heard before "cobwebby". Secondly: no congrats to your wedding yet - I don't like to bring misfortune. Thirdly: You're doing lots of hard work for us and probably don't get as much feedback as you deserve. This be my tiny contibution. Fourthly: We (including me :/) shouldn't only read the latest "news". Even if there's nothing new, a poem mostly doesn't get "cobwebby".
I feel badly that your own writing is suffering, through doing so much for all of us. Hope you can find a way to reduce some of your duties - do you need more help from staffers? Let us know!!!!! Once the anthology is done, hopefully life will ease a tad. Maybe once a year is enough for an anthology??
Do write something once a week, Robb. Hey, come by Poets United for Thursday Think Tank, hee hee.
Robb, don't let your creativity suffer, as you foster others' creativity. Writing a poem is your gift to yourself. I do miss your words when you don't write poems for a while.
